Match the category and silhouette
Confirm the object type, overall shape, and important construction are consistent.
Match the exact variant
Compare color, size, material, product code, included parts, and any customization.
Trace the source
Look for the same item or marketplace source rather than relying only on visual similarity.
Compare distinctive details
Use seams, sole pattern, pocket layout, hardware shape, labels, ports, or other category-relevant features.
Record the confidence
Say same item, likely related, or unclear based on the evidence. Do not upgrade uncertainty to certainty.

Measurements need a method
Sizing and measurement evidence
Use a visible tape or ruler only when its start point, end point, and units can be read. Compare the measurement with the stated size and the item-specific chart, not a generic size letter.
Clothing can vary by cut and measurement method. Footwear may use different size systems and insole measurements. Bags and accessories often need scale or exact dimensions. Record the method so another reader can repeat the comparison.
Write down what cannot be seen
Image quality and missing-angle limitations
- Bright or dim lighting can change the apparent color and surface texture.
- Wide-angle distortion can change proportions near the frame edge.
- Compression can hide stitching, print, label, or surface details.
- One missing angle can conceal the exact feature the album claim depends on.
- A cropped frame can remove the measurement start point or source context.
- A good photo of one item does not guarantee another unit or later batch.
Keep the claim narrow
Why QC photos do not authenticate a product or seller
QC photos show only the item and context visible in that image set. They do not establish intellectual-property status, who controls the seller account, whether the photos were reused, what the next item will look like, or how a transaction will be handled.
Use QC as one evidence layer. Seller identity, source-link relevance, recent independent feedback, payment protection, and third-party policies require separate checks.

- The album and QC set show the same category and intended variant.
- Product code, source, color, size, and included parts align where visible.
- The QC angles test the album details that matter most.
- Measurements show a readable method and units.
- Lighting, cropping, compression, and missing angles are recorded as limits.
- The comparison does not make an authenticity or seller-verification claim.
- Source, contact, payment, shipping, and policy checks remain separate.
- The next responsible party can answer any remaining item-specific question.

Ask for the photo that would answer your question
Before requesting another image, name the exact item, variant, angle, measurement, condition detail, or function check that matters. A specific request is easier to review than asking for “more QC photos.”
When the images arrive, check identity first. Only then use them to inspect condition, measurements, included parts, or missing views.
